Wolfenstein: Youngblood is finally here, and if you’re anything like us, you can’t wait to start battling Nazis in 1980s Paris. But did you know that with the Buddy Pass, you can play with friends who don’t even own the game?

In Wolfenstein: Youngblood, you play as the two “terror twins”, Jess and Soph Blazkowicz, and that means you can play solo with an AI sibling or you can team up with friends in online multiplayer.

And if you have the Deluxe Edition of the game, you’ll get the Buddy Pass, which means you can send an invite to a friend who doesn’t own the game and play through the entire thing together (and it won’t cost them a penny).

So, how do you use the Buddy Pass?

First of all, you’ll need to make sure your friend has a Bethesda.net account. They’ll also need to download the trial version of the game.

Next, you’ll need to open up Wolfenstein: Youngblood, go to the main menu, and select Play Game. You’ll get the option to host a game here, and this is where you’ll add your friend’s account. As soon as that’s done, you can both start your adventure straight away.

The best part is, the Buddy Pass won’t expire, which means it can be used to invite as many friends as you like. So while you can only play with one friend at a time (there’s only one of you, after all), and they can’t play without you, there’s no limit on how many friends you can link up with in total.

Your friend won’t be able to get achievements or trophies as they play via the Buddy Pass, but they’ll otherwise be able to play and progress as if they owned the full game. They’ll also be able to purchase the game for themselves at any point if they decide they’re having too much fun to wait for you to play again – and naturally, they’ll carry all their progress over with them, so you can carry on playing together from where you left off.

You can grab the Deluxe Edition, which includes the Buddy Pass and the Cyborg Skin Pack, right here. And if you’re looking for more details about the Wolfenstein: Youngblood story, setting, and more, you’ll find those right here.
