Released back in 2016, Watch Dogs 2 was not only an amazing sequel but also one of the most accomplished open-world games around, turning San Francisco into vibrant high-tech playground. Now, you can play this awesome title for free on PC, thanks to a promotion from Ubisoft.
All you’ll need to do to snag your free copy of Watch Dogs 2 on PC is tune into Sunday’s Ubisoft Forward Livestream and watch the show while logged into your Ubisoft account. Head over to ubisoft.com/forward and sign in with your Ubisoft/Uplay account to be eligible for your free game. If you don’t have an account, simply sign up for one ahead of the show on the same link. The show starts at 8pm on Sunday 12 July, and will likely last one to two hours.
Ubisoft Forward takes the place of Ubisoft’s yearly E3 showcase, in which the firm usually gives us a look at some of their upcoming games as well as announcing new titles. It promises to be an exciting one this year with high-profile titles like Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla, Gods & Monsters, and Watch Dogs: Legion all likely to be on the running order.
If you’re excited as we are for Watch Dogs: Legion, check out our chat with creative director Clint Hocking or meet the weird and wonderful characters that will inhabit this futuristic version of London.
