WHAT’S IN THE BOX? | 12 OCT | THIS WEEK IN GAMING

With the biggest news stories of the week, featured content, hints, tips and a look at upcoming new releases, we’ve condensed this week in gaming to give you the TL;DR version.

This week we’re getting up close and personal with the Mystery Box Edition of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 as Jess talks you through everything that comes in the limited edition. In celebration of this creepy collector’s edition we’re winding it back ten years to World at War and the map that introduced us all to Call of Duty Zombies as we go through Nacht der Untoten and how it spawned a whole new mode for Call of Duty.

We’ve also got a rundown of some of the new releases in a few weeks time. There’s Torn on PSVR, a creepy psychological horror in the form of Call of Cthulhu, and straight out of Japan comes the adorable and colourful rhythm game Taiko No Tatsujin : Drum N Fun.

And, as well as all this we’ve got the biggest news from this week in gaming, including the PlayStation name change system that’s arriving soon, the lowdown on Meltan the Mythical Pokemon, and the possible happy ending for Telltale’s The Walking Dead: Final Season.
