A real life Resident Evil 2 immersive bar is opening in London on the 25 January.
Part of this event will involve lucky teams of four taking part in the Resident Evil 2: Safe House experience. This will task them with journeying through a recreation of the iconic Raccoon City Police Department in a bid to find safety.
Don’t expect a quiet stroll through R.P.D though, as the event for the site teases “all is not as it seems as you put your fear responses to the test in a bid to join the few survivors left.” Yikes. Capcom have also revealed there’ll be a real blood antidote to sample during this scary event, if you’re feeling particularly fearless.
Once you’ve made your way through the house of horrors, there’ll be a bar that is serving Resi-inspired cocktails, such as an Arklay County Boilo and Alabama Slammer, along with light beer, which is ample reward for the brave souls who take it on.
We’d imagine you’re chomping at the bit to take this on, and the best news is that it’s free! For your chance to take part in the Safe House experience, head here to get a free ticket. Be quick though, as they’re on a first-come, first-served basis.
Don’t worry if you don’t manage to snag a ticket, there’ll be a limited of walk-in spots for access to the bar (but not the Safe House experience), and walk-in slots for game stations on the first floor of R.P.D, where you’ll be able to play Resident Evil 2.
The event will end on 26 January, so make sure you book your slot as soon as possible, and prepare to face a real life R.P.D!
We’ve had a chance to go hands-on with Resident Evil 2 and think it could be a horror classic in the making. Plus, there’s not long left until Resident Evil 2 shuffles onto PS4, and Xbox One, but there’s still time to guarantee your copy by pre-ordering here!
