Ubisoft have announced a new standalone game in the Rainbow Six franchise at their E3 2019 press conference. Rainbow Six Quarantine is a tactical co-op game that builds on the gameplay of the critically acclaimed Siege.

Quarantine will have three players work together in quarantine zones to take on a mutated alien parasite that infects human hosts. It’s intended to be a PvE campaign so expect a number of missions to complete.

The gunplay and gadgetry from Rainbow Six Siege carries over as the game is inspired by the highly popular Outbreak event for that game in 2018. Operators from Siege will also star in Quarantine but they won’t be exactly the same. You can see Ela and Vigil at the end of the teaser trailer.

Rainbow Six Quarantine will be available in early 2020 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
