Well, grab your popcorn, because at 9pm tonight, you’re invited to witness the future of gaming in a packed, one-hour long live stream from Sony and you can watch along with the rest of the world, right here on GAME Media on the video stream above. Need a refresher? Here’s everything we know about the PS5 so far.

Now that we’ve had a brief look at the controller – which you can find out everything you need to know about here – it’s time to see the games. Of course, we already know about a few games that have been confirmed for next-gen consoles, but you can expect Sony to raise the bar with some brand new first-party titles later tonight, and who knows, we might get some next-gen remasters or information about backwards compatibility too.

You’re probably wondering just what Sony have in store for us tonight. As is typical for next-generation reveal events, Sony have played their cards very close to the chest, giving away almost nothing about what lies in wait for us. All we can say for sure is that there will be a variety of new titles shown, from studios large and small, as Sony president, Jim Ryan stated on the PlayStation Blog.

“The games coming to PS5 represent the best in the industry from innovative studios that span the globe,” said Ryan. “Studios, both larger and smaller, those newer and those more established, all have been hard at work developing games that will showcase the potential of the hardware.”

Right on, Jim. If you can’t wait for Sony’s next gaming machine, don’t forget to secure your PlayStation 5 system with a pre-order at GAME.
