Bioware have released a new video teasing a new Mass Effect game.
To celebrate N7 day, which has become an official celebration of the series, the video closes on Bioware’s General Manager, Casey Hudson, answering the question, “What does N7 mean to you?”
He responds: “It means coming into the studio every day, dreaming about what the next great Mass Effect game will be”. On top of that, Lead Producer Mike Gamble then poured fuel on the speculation bonfire by tweeting:
Happy #N7Day to everyone! I love this IP deeply, and we’ve grown together over the years as fans and developers in it. We still have stories left to tell in this universe…the future is bright.

While it’s unlikely a new Mass Effect game will be coming any time soon (Bioware’s Anthem is due out next year on February the 19th and a new Dragon Age is also being worked on), that doesn’t mean you won’t be getting any new Mass Effect content today.
A new Xbox One X patch for Mass Effect Andromeda is going live, which increases the game’s resolution and brings in HDR lighting.
With Bioware publicly commiting to the series’ future, we can’t wait to see what’s next for the classic series.
