Geoff Keighley, producer and host of The Game Awards, has revealed that there will be more than 10 new games will be announced at this year’s show.
In a video Keighley posted to Twitter, he also talked about how the show will be expanded this year, including more ways to vote and stream than ever before.
We have such an incredible show coming together for next week. More than 10 new games will be announced for the first time during #TheGameAwards plus updates on existing titles too. We will share some teases in the days to come…. pic.twitter.com/3w17tFIuTA

The show has gone from strength-to-strength over the past five years. Last year, for instance, saw the tease of Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, and a new trailer for Death Stranding. We can’t wait to see what will be teased over the next few days…
In terms of the games up for awards this year, the nominees run from massive blockbusters like Sony’s God of War to indie smashes such as Matt Makes Games’s Celeste. Check out the full nomination list below.
The awards will be streamed live on the 6th December 5:30pm local time and 7th December at 1:30am GMT.
