FromSoftware has finally unveiled their next game, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice.
The latest action game from the developer will take place in ancient Japan. Players will control a powerful ninja that is equipped with a grappling hook on his prosthetic arm.
This isn’t the first time that FromSoftware have made a game set in Japan. They originally came to prominence with their work on the Tenchu series. Since then, they’ve gained critical acclaim with Dark Souls and Bloodborne.
Sekiro will look to play similarly to the Souls titles, as the trailer showed quick sword-based combat against larger-than-life enemies.
It will also mark the Japanese studio’s first collaboration with Activision. They’ve previously worked with Bandai Namco for the Dark Souls series and Sony for Bloodborne.
