Fortnite’s Season 10 is here, and in the lineup this time there’s time travel, powerful mech suits, and brand new Missions to complete.

Read on to find out which secrets of Season 10 have been revealed so far!

Rift Zones

The Zero Point, a strange orb that’s been quietly hovering over Loot Lake for a little while now, has exploded, leaving behind a location that hasn’t been seen since the end of Season 3. Despite the fact that we know it disappeared after having been hit by a meteorite, the Dusty Depot is somehow back – but it’s not quite the same as it was…

That’s far from the only familiar location to make an unexpected reappearance, though. The Zero Point explosion has triggered the appearance of mysterious Rift Zones across the entire map, and each one has brought back a location once thought lost. There’s something strange about all of them, however, so it’s worth taking a good look around to see how things have changed.

The B.R.U.T.E.

When you leap from the Battle Bus, look around for signs of the B.R.U.T.E., a mercilessly powerful mech suit that will crash-land on the island, ready for you to grab when you land.

This fearsome mech suit can be piloted by two players, with one steering and one taking on the role of gunner, or if you’re feeling daring, you can pilot it by yourself and switch between the two roles.

If you’re driving, you’ll be able to dash, Super Jump, and stomp your enemies (and nearby structures) into oblivion. And yes, you can keep harvesting materials from the wreckage too. The gunner, meanwhile, has the dual luxuries of both a shotgun and a missile launcher at their disposal, and for a cost of 200 of any type of Material, they’ll be able to create a 5-second shield to keep you (at least briefly) out of harm’s way.

Battle Pass Missions

There are over 100 rewards to unlock with the Season 10 Battle Pass, like emotes, Outfit styles, and even dual pickaxes. Right at the top of the pile is the super rare Ultima Knight skin, which you can only unlock once you reach Battle Pass Tier 100.

Another big change this season is the arrival of Battle Pass Missions. These work like Battle Pass Challenges, and they’ll still be released weekly. The main difference is that by completing these Missions, you’ll be able to earn Battle Stars, XP, and special cosmetic items, like style options. You’ll also need to complete these in order to unlock further Tiers and progress towards that all-important Ultima Knight skin.

And this time, you can gift the Battle Pass to a friend. This handy feature will be available on all platforms, but bear in mind that you’ve only got until 15 August to send it over.

You can grab the Season 10 Battle Pass for the usual 950 V-bucks (and you can top up on those right here).
