Pokémon Sword & Shield will support the Poké Ball Plus

Nintendo have revealed that Pokémon Sword & Shield will have connectivity with the Poké Ball Plus.

You won’t be able to use the Poké Ball Plus as a controller like you could in Let’s Go Pikachu! and Let’s Go Eevee!, but you can still put captured Pokémon inside the ball to carry around with you and take for a walk. And if you do, something good might happen…

Nintendo have revealed that Pokémon Sword & Shield will have connectivity with the Poké Ball Plus.

Putting your Pokémon from Pikachu! and Eevee! inside the Poké Ball Plus allowed them to gain experience and discover items. So expect something along those lines for Sword and Shield.

We also got our first look at new Water-type gym leader from the Galar region during the Direct. She’s called Nessa and she has great fashion sense. We also hope Nintendo give her a Welsh accent to make Nessa a full reference to Gavin and Stacey. You never know!
