Square Enix have revealed gameplay footage of Dragon Quest Builders 2, the next entry in its Minecraft-style series, and the game looks huge.
The game boasts far larger islands than the previous entry, with the potential to craft enormous constructions – the demo showed a vast pyramid being built. And whereas the first game was single-player only, the sequel features four-player online co-op, so you can build more ambitious structures with the help of friends.
As well as building, you can grow crops and fight enemies – and now you can also explore underwater, a first for the series.
Dragon Quest Builders 2 will be released on 12 July for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.
