While you might think celebrities might have a bit too much on their plate to settle on a sofa with a controller and enjoy a good game, that assumption would be incorrect. Turns out some celebs are well into gaming, whether it’s pulling mega-drifts on Mario Kart or battering demons in Bayonetta.

So, we’ve scoured the internet, sifted through twitter, and rounded up 7 of our favourite gamers who also happen to be incredibly famous.

1. Henry Cavill

The Mission: Impossible Fallout actor might be known for playing Superman and Gearlt in the upcoming Witcher TV show, but he also loves World of Warcraft. How much does he love WoW? He adores it so much that he was happy to ignore a call from Zack Snyder because he was too engrossed playing Blizzard’s classic.


2. Jamie Lee Curtis

You want another actor who loves World of Warcraft? Well, the star of Halloween and Freaky Friday is a committed fan. She even went with her son to the Warcraft movie premiere cosplaying as a WoW character!

Yep, James Bond is a gamer. Daniel Craig revealed in an interview way back in 2007 that he enjoyed games with a “big fat storyline”, before waxing lyrical on Halo.
