1. Chocobo

Let’s start with a classic. Fluffy, yellow, iconic – smells like Chocobo. Finest mode of transport ever invented.
2. Psyduck

Canonically, if Psyduck uses its mysterious powers, it won’t remember a thing about it afterwards. That means it can do whatever it wants. Fear Psyduck’s staring eyes.
3. The goose

You know exactly which goose we mean. Is it evil, or simply mischievous? We can’t say for sure, but we’re secretly rooting for it to make an appearance in every video game made from now on.
4. Ganymede

Bastion very nearly blasted Ganymede into smithereens when first they met, but this cute little bird was big-hearted enough to forgive him. That’s a good friend right there.
5. Kazooie

How many birds do you know that are happy to be carried around in a backpack all day? We get that Banjo and Kazooie are inseparable, but Kazooie puts up with a lot. Check out their most recent appearance in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and you’ll see just how handy Kazooie is.
6. Senu

We’re still not quite sure how Senu communicates the locations of nearby enemies to Bayek, but we appreciate it anyway. If birds were given medals for being helpful, Senu would be at the top of the awards list.
7. Trico

Feathers, check. Wings, check. According to our highly scientific analysis, that means Trico’s a bird and deserves a spot on this list. Next time you see Trico, be sure to dish out a nose stroke from us.
